Comment piece by a member of the Occupation.

My own experience is a sense of slight alienation from my Art-School peers. The Teach-In started with a lecture on May '68 Paris (yadda yadda). It was run in an Art School. By Art Students.
Our occupation of the Art building was met with a largely hostile reaction.

The conclusion that Art has sold out is probably one that has already been made. But it seems a shame.

Currently fiddling around with this theatre --

NICK CLEGG. DICK HEAD.

The Occupation goes on for a week with very few problems. Security are friendly. We make demands of the uni. And we enjoy each other's company.

Occupied.

And after a incredibly successful protest and a brief teach-in Newcastle University is occupied.
